Certications
BIOROCK has various certifications and approvals in different countries.

The BIOROCK® units are tested at the PIA in Aachen in Germany (Notified body 1739) for “Small wastewater treatment systems for up to 50 PE”. The units have passed the tests for Water tightness and Structural behaviour.

Part 1: Pre-fabricated Septic tanks
The BIOROCK® Primary tanks are tested for its efficiency at the PIA in Aachen in Germany. The hydraulic efficiency is 99.86%.
Part 3: Packaged and/or site assembled domestic wastewater treatment plants
The complete BIOROCK® units (Primary Tank + BIOREACTOR) are tested for its biological efficiency at the PIA in Aachen in Germany.
Treatment efficiency is:

German approvals
BIOROCK has 4x approvals (DIBt Zulassungen) for Germany.
The BIOROCK® units are approved as a complete system (Primary tank + Bioreactor) and as a Retrofit (only Bioreactor).
Approval for France
The BIOROCK® units are approved for France conform the Agrément National 2010-026.
