Pump shaft, ø 400 mm
In some cases a pump is required to lift the effluent (purified water) to a higher level. In these situations a pump shaft is required.
BIOROCK® has developed an optional pump shaft with a diameter of 400 mm, with the same length (2,040 mm) as its BIOROCK –S series.
The PE pipe is rotomoulded and is especially made for the BIOROCK –S series. All the connections are matching with the openings at the BIOROCK-S units. A extra PVC pipe aeration pipe is not required anymore.
At the end of the BIOROCK Reactor the purified waste water (effluent) is captured in the pump shaft and can be easily pump to a higher level with a normal submersible pump.
The pump shaft can be used as an aeration pipe too. A PVC pipe (ø 110 mm) with an aeration cap can be fitted at the extra outlet at the top.
